Good times at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Tanner, with Opa's help, fed crackers to the giraffes at the zoo. Who knew they had such CRAZY tongues! We had quite the fun filled day...in addition to feeding the giraffes, Tanner was quite fascinated by the gorillas, got an up close peek at some wallabies and took a spin on the carousel. 

Tanner is a WINNER...

...and he is clearly excited about it! Not only did he score a hunk of banana today, his first non mashed or pureed food, he also won some BabyLegs in Urban Baby Runway's monthly contest...WooHoo! Thanks to BabyLegs and UBR/mamac-ta for the fun contests!

Play Date

We met up with Terri and her little boy Connor at the Java Buddha for some fun times with the boys. Everyone had a nice time...that is until Tanner spotted the food in the tupperware and he decided he should be playing with that.

Camping - Our Maiden Voyage

Tanner went camping for the first time this weekend. Desptie it beign hot, hot, hot, we had a great time, got nice and dirty, Daddy got some kayaking in and Mama got some biking in. Most notably, we even managed to get everything into the car! Okay, so no one said anything about it fitting easily, or comfortably into the car!

Week Twenty Seven

It was such a nice surprise to have a spontaneous visit from Oma! Tanner enjoyed his Oma, especially getting massages, helping to open birthday presents and being treated to new foods and what Tanner had hoped would be drinking out of a glass!
