So Serious...

...makes you wonder what he was thinking about holding daddy's hand standing near the fountain.

One of a Kind

We are really lucky...baby girl has the most wonderful bedding set ever, hand made with lots of love by Oma. My mom mentioned she wanted to make a quilt for the new baby and I somehow managed to sucker her into doing a whole set for the baby's room. We picked out some fantastic fabric...Amy Butler's Midwest Modern Pink Dahlia...and my mom put together this amazing quilt, with coordinating bumper, bed skirt and curtains (not pictured) and the most adorable little pillow for the rocking chair. I'm so excited to set it all up and start getting ready for this little girl to arrive. We still need to move Tanner into his new room, and tackle some serious painting (why did I do bright blue and dark brown walls?) before we can start getting the new room set up.

THANKS OMA...THE QUILT IS TRULY AN AMAZING GIFT AND PIECE OF ART WE WILL ENJOY AND TREASURE FOREVER!

Fathers Day

We had a super fun fathers day...including a trip to the zoo, a good nap and an afternoon bike ride on the Santa Fe trail down to Poor Richards to get pizza for dinner. I'm guessing Drew's highlight was when he asked if Tanner was getting tired of riding, and Tanner said "No Daddy, I'm having fun riding my bike."

Seeing the Rehms at the Beach

It was such a treat to see you guys and have an afternoon of fun in the sun. We hope it wont be another two years before we see you again!

...AFTER...

some of the new windows and the new house color we picked.

Next up...get the remaining doors done, getting the new kiddo rooms organized, building the retaining wall and doing some landscaping. Hopefully win the lottery and be able to add some more things to the house project completed list!
