Today we spent the morning with Sage and Alison doing a bunch of fun crafts. We started off searching for pine cones, which we then brought home to decorate and make into ornaments. We followed that up with a small painting project creating some snowmen and snowflakes to celebrate the holidays. To top it off, the kids helped roll out gingerbread dough and made some delicious cookies! WOW, thank you Alison and Sage for such a fun morning!
Tanner and Drew looked so cute reading I figured I'd get a few photos. Since the lights were super dim, it was also a good opportunity to play with the camera and its different settings.
Not exactly how one pictures it, but a neat and new experience for Tanner none the less. I look forward to doing the beach thing again with him sometime...hopefully in warm sunny weather.
Tanner eagerly awaits the arrival of our train. He was super excited to be on his first real train ride...we took the train from my aunts place in Beverwijk to Haarlem for a little sight seeing. I think the getting there and back was the most fun for Tanner.
We had the perfect fall day today...beautiful weather and yard projects that quickly were abandoned for some quality time checking out the pine trees and wrestling with mom and dad.
