Play Date

We met up with Terri and her little boy Connor at the Java Buddha for some fun times with the boys. Everyone had a nice time...that is until Tanner spotted the food in the tupperware and he decided he should be playing with that.

Camping - Our Maiden Voyage

Tanner went camping for the first time this weekend. Desptie it beign hot, hot, hot, we had a great time, got nice and dirty, Daddy got some kayaking in and Mama got some biking in. Most notably, we even managed to get everything into the car! Okay, so no one said anything about it fitting easily, or comfortably into the car!

Week Twenty Seven

It was such a nice surprise to have a spontaneous visit from Oma! Tanner enjoyed his Oma, especially getting massages, helping to open birthday presents and being treated to new foods and what Tanner had hoped would be drinking out of a glass!

I'm Six Months Old!

I can't believe it...Tanner is six months old!

• We had our check-up this morning and Tanner weighs 18 lbs 8 ozs and is 27.5 inches. He is right up there in the 75% percentile and doing great!
• In the past few days he has made huge improvements on the whole sitting situation. While he is getting better daily, he is still unstable and likely to crash at any moment, especially when there is an intersting toy around to reach for.
• In celebration of his 6 month birthday, tomorrow Tanner get his first taste of solids. While the menu is still being decided upon, regardless of its contents it is sure to be an interesting and fun afternoon production and will provide plenty of photo opportunities. Stay tuned!

Father's Day

Tanner gave his dad a huge surprise for Father's Day and rolled from his back to his belly for the first time. What a nice way to show your Dad how much you love him! While we were delinquent on the photos that day, we did have a great time and Tanner also surprised his Dad with a fun homemade onsie to show him how much he loves him.

...that life with Tanner is going to keep on getting more and more interesting. I'm thinking there is a bit of mischief and a lot of trouble in that expression!

Tanner Visits a New Friend

We went to visit the Mattson's newest addition, Piper Elizabeth this past week. Tanner is now the only boy (within the past year) sandwiched in bewteen four girls...what a stud! He has some older boys and girls to look up to and will be growing up with the coolest pack of Colorado girls ever...Delaney, Ella, Sanna and Piper.

Last weekend we attended another wedding reception...this one was a more laid back casual affair, so Tanner was able to sport his new cool cuban stylin' outfit care of Auntie Dharma. Such a handsome little dude!
 

Tanner Thinks the Activity Center is Great!

Dave, Sabra and Liam were kind enough to loan us their activity center. Tanner really seems to be enjoying himself and all the entertainment it has to offer.
