The Potty Thing...

 
 
 
We are working on the whole potty thing. Tanner wants to wear his Cars underwear (and only his cars underwear), and I on the nicer days let him run around the house and work on his going in the potty skills. On this day Tanner was running around teh house, and I had an appointment stop by and stepped outside to talk with them about our yard. Tanner put his boots on and decided to join us outside. Hence the lovely outfit.

A Little Sister...

 

Looks like Tanner is going to get getting a little sister. Fun times ahead...

Bath time fun

I entertained myself by giving him a mowhawk, handing him the mirror and taking the photos...he was thrilled just looking at himself.

We went in to look at beds and came out with Clyde

 
 
 
Tanner and I took a little trip up to Pottery Barn this week with the intent to look at some furniture. We walked into the store, and right into an adorable display of their new safari bedding. We are in the process of trying to get Tanner set up in a new room with a big boy bed...and having a lot of fun looking around. While we didn't see any furniture, we did end up with bedding and Clyde. Tanner loves his new alligator. He wants to sleep with Clyde, he wants to have Clyde around when he is playing and even wants to take him along when we go out (it does not happen). I'm hoping we get the bedroom up and running soon, and that Clyde will help Tanner make a smooth transition to his big boy bed.

Tanner joined Opa on the couch for some basketball. The two of them sat there, sharing snacks and watching the game...it was quite a sight!

Evan, and his folks, joined us for the easter egg hunt. Sadly it was inside since we got 6 inches of snow the night before!

We finally got Tanner a real haircut. I don't know why I was nervous about it...but after four incidence of gender confusion last week, I figured it was time. Good thing we got it done because I think my little guy looks super cute with his new do.

I am hopeful that both this beautiful weather, and Tanner's interest in his new balance bike are a taste of what is to come!

Drew timed the end of his bike ride perfectly...Tanner was just up from his nap and able to come out and help Daddy with cleaning and getting the bike ready for the next time out. It was also a good opportunity for Tanner and Drew to work on Tanner's new balance bike and make sure it was ready for its maiden voyage! Photos of that to come...
